Short answer: use one photo you have permission to use. Face the camera, keep hands off the face, and frame waist-up if you want the gown. On ViralReel that photo becomes a new vertical MP4 at https://www.viralreel.app/sasha-la-catrina-ai-template. A living pet needs the whole head and its markings, alone in the frame. Do not upload a minor on their own, a celebrity, or a stranger. After the MP4 downloads, keep the AI label on. If the file is silent, add “Adiós señora bonita” from the platform library. ViralReel does not license that song.
The photo the reveal can use
The generator does not ask you to describe the bedroom. The sample already has the flower, the gown, and the light. Your file only has to be a person the model can lock onto.
- Face the camera. A slight angle is fine. A profile, or the back of a head, gives the drawing almost nothing to keep.
- Hands off the face. The clip itself may cover the face or throw a flower. If your photo already has a hand over the mouth or the eyes, the model has to invent what is underneath, and the result stops looking like you.
- Waist-up for the gown. The lace and the marigolds need room under the shoulders. A tight headshot can still run. It gives the gown less of you to hang on.
- Even light in front. A window behind the person turns them into a silhouette, and the sugar-skull lines have nowhere clean to sit.
- One subject. A group selfie makes the model guess which face to draw. Crop or reshoot.
JPG, PNG, and WebP work. The generator’s stated minimum is 300×300. Skip beauty filters and a photo of a screen. The step-by-step is how to make a Catrina AI video.
Who the photo can be
You, your mum, or your grandmother, when they agreed. Grandmother is its own sample: an older woman at the evening parade. Keep her age. Do not ask the render to make her younger.
Catrín is the male video reveal: sugar-skull paint, a suit, a wide hat. It is not a makeup still. One front-facing photo of a man who agreed. The page is Catrín AI. MakeViral’s Catrín look is a portrait, not this sample.
A pair version takes a second photo only when the generator shows Image 2. Family and duo notes are with family.
A living pet
Catrina Cat wants one photo of the pet. The whole head in frame, ears up if they have them, markings visible, nothing else in the shot. A cat or a dog can use that sample. A person standing behind the pet can come back as a sugar skull with whiskers on a human body.
This dresses a living pet. It is not the memorial for a pet that has passed. That distinction is the pet page and the memorial split. ViralRemix lists separate retriever and xolo clips. ViralReel does not. One pet sample is the product.
What not to upload
Do not upload a minor on their own, a celebrity, Đan Thy, a film frame, or a stranger. Permission is not replaced by the AI label. ViralReel is not affiliated with Đan Thy, The Book of Life rights holders, CapCut, or TikTok.
Real Catrina makeup — hours of brushes — is a different post. This template does not teach that paint. The split is makeup versus the reveal.
Pick the sample, then leave the scene alone
Seven samples share the fairytale look and change the reveal:
- Flower Toss is the bedroom reveal the wave copied.
- Second Face is that same reveal on another face.
- Song Reveal rides the line.
- Ofrenda Reveal covers the face at the altar.
- Catrín is the man.
- Catrina Cat is the living pet.
- Grandmother is the parade.
The length locks to the sample: 5, 10, or 15 seconds. The frame is vertical 9:16. You do not write a prompt to get the marigolds.
After the file exists
Read the credit cost before you generate. The generator says a video usually takes 2–3 minutes. Download the MP4. Paid credit packs and monthly plans export without a ViralReel watermark, at 720p and 1080p. The sample audio can be in the file. That is not a license. If the download is silent, search “Adiós señora bonita” in TikTok, Reels, or Shorts and turn on the AI label where the app asks.
