Sasha La Catrina, ViralRemix, and MakeViral

The closest one-photo video rival in this 2 November 2026 note is ViralRemix at https://viralremix.org/fairytale-catrina-ai. That page also answers Sasha and “Adiós señora bonita.” It lists about 11 reference clips, including a golden retriever and a xolo, markets the job as Kling O3 Edit, and shows a sample at about 15 seconds, 3:4, 720p. A single use on that page is $9.90. Packs of uses cost less per video there; this page does not quote those pack prices. It keeps the sample audio. ViralReel does not operate that site. ViralReel’s hub is https://www.viralreel.app/sasha-la-catrina-ai-template, under the name Sasha La Catrina. The seven samples are Flower Toss, Second Face, Song Reveal, Ofrenda Reveal, Catrín, Catrina Cat, and Grandmother. Each is its own clip at 5, 10, or 15 seconds, vertical 9:16. Credits come from a pack or a monthly plan, not a $9.90 per-clip button. If a model menu is visible, it only picks an image-to-video engine for this fixed template. It is not a blank Kling O3 prompt and not a Seedance prompt. Both sites keep sample audio. Neither kept track is a license, and ViralReel does not claim an exclusive soundtrack.

MakeViral’s public page at https://www.makeviral.ai/templates/ai-day-of-the-dead-makeup is a makeup still (Nano Banana): a portrait, with a Catrín look, no pet samples, and no fairytale flower-toss video. A makeup preview is not the Book of Life flower-toss reveal. This page does not quote their credit price. No dedicated MakeTrend page for Sasha or Fairytale Catrina was found in this check. This page does not claim to beat a page that is not there. The makeup-versus-reveal page on ViralReel is https://www.viralreel.app/catrina-makeup-vs-ai. It does not claim ViralReel is a makeup tool.

CapCut templates checked on 2 November 2026: “La Catrina AI” is about 12.1K uses, about 13 seconds, and needs 3 clips; “Catrina AI Filter” is about 5.2K uses and needs 4 clips. An exact “Sasha La Catrina” CapCut template-detail URL was not verified, so this page does not quote a use count for that name. Those CapCut jobs paste a face onto a fixed clip. ViralReel re-renders the whole person under the paint from one photo. The longer table is https://www.viralreel.app/blog/best-sasha-la-catrina-ai-generators. Pets on ViralReel are https://www.viralreel.app/sasha-la-catrina-pets. Paid credit packs and monthly plans export without a ViralReel watermark, at 720p and 1080p. Packs are at https://www.viralreel.app/pricing. Monthly plans are at https://www.viralreel.app/subscribe.

1. Pick a reveal, upload one photo. Open the Sasha La Catrina template, pick the reveal you want from the sample list — the flower toss, the ofrenda hands-over-face, the Catrín, or the pet versions — and upload one clear front-facing photo. Face toward the camera, hands away from the face, waist-up if you want the gown. For a pet, a photo where the whole head and its markings show. JPG, PNG, and WebP work.
2. Generate the transformation. The clip's reveal, camera, gown and sound are all pre-built — your photo only supplies the face. Check the credit cost shown before you start and generate. The AI keeps your face under the sugar-skull paint and rebuilds the gown, the candles and the petals around it at the clip's own length.
3. Download the MP4. Download the vertical MP4 when the render finishes — the reveal lands on the marigold light, with the sample's original sound already kept. Paid credit packs and monthly plans export without a ViralReel watermark.
4. Post with the trend sound and the AI label. Post on TikTok under #fairytalecatrina, #lacatrina and #sashalacatrina — or on Reels and Shorts. If the sound is missing from your download, add "Adiós señora bonita" (from The Book of Life) from the in-app library, and turn on the AI-generated label where the platform asks. The trend peaks on Día de Muertos, November 1-2.
